H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Wisconsin. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates, and help answer tax questions during peak season.

No prior tax experience required; training provided from day one. This role emphasizes client service, clear explanations, and identifying tax savings opportunities while building long-lasting relationships with clients and the office team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to explain tax information clearly
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI tools

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in an understandable way
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach
