H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local PA tax office. No prior tax experience is required as comprehensive training and support start from day one. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns while building client relationships and tax knowledge.

You will work in-person during peak periods, with hours ranging from 15 to 40 per week. The role offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge and performance.

Formación

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
