No prior tax experience is required as training and support are provided from day one. This role offers a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows, and is ideal for building client relationships in a busy tax-season environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving and organizing information.
• Comfort using AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.
