Job summary

Holton-Arms School in Potomac, MD is seeking an Assistant Coach for Swimming for the winter season beginning in November 2026. This role will work with our head coaches to develop a talented group of student-athletes in one of the DC Metro area’s most competitive leagues.

Previous experience is preferred but not required; a strong commitment to developing student-athletes with high character and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Swimming and Diving experience preferred.
• A strong commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
• High character, leadership skills, and the ability to uphold Holton-Arms School’s values.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in the development of the Swimming and Diving program in alignment with the school’s mission.
• Foster a positive, growth-minded, and team-oriented culture.
• Emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community-building.
• Maintain schedule flexibility for after-school practices and games.
