Job summary

Holton-Arms School is seeking an Assistant Coach for Swimming for the winter season beginning in November 2026. This person will work with head coaches leading student-athletes in a competitive DC Metro area league. Prior coaching experience is preferred but not required.

Drive, character, and alignment with school values are essential; flexibility for after-school practices is expected. Stipend provided, background check required.

Qualifications

• Previous Swimming and Diving experience and/or coaching experience preferred.
• A strong commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court.
• High character, leadership skills, and the ability to uphold Holton-Arms School’s values.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist in the development of the Swimming and Diving program in alignment with the school’s mission.
• Foster a positive, growth-minded, and team-oriented culture.
• Emphasize fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community-building.
