Job summary

Five Below is seeking an Interim Support Lead in New Jersey to help ensure an outstanding shopping experience. You will assist with front-end operations, cash management, merchandising, cleanliness and safety while driving sales.

You will also take on Manager on Duty responsibilities during shifts, supporting the onboarding and training of associates and collaborating with the store leadership team to boost performance during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience to guarantee fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed effectively and customer service is excellent.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Manage opening/closing of the store, including cash handling, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and operations.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance and service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery efforts.
• Perform store maintenance such as cleaning, stock room organization, and safety checks.
