Job summary

Shutterfly’s JCPenney Portrait Studio in Durham is hiring immediately for seasonal part-time team members. You’ll capture fun, creative photos and guide customers through the session from start to finish.

Earn $16.00 per hour with paid training, competitive incentives, flexible scheduling, and studio/store discounts. Prior retail, sales, or photography experience is preferred, but no experience is required; excellent communication helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous retail, sale, service, or photography experience preferred.
• Ability to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with children and adults.
• Basic math and computer skills (navigation, data entry).
• No experience necessary!

Responsibilities

• Capture photos that are fun and creative to exceed customers' expectations.
• Perform the sales process to meet Sales Average expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
