Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership-oriented crew member for our Kansas City location. You will supervise team members, deliver WOW customer service, and assist with daily operations to keep the store running smoothly. Strong communication, multitasking, and a proactive merchandising approach are valued.

A High School diploma is required, with preferred college experience and prior management work. Includes flexible shifts, weekends, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew wow customers with personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Train crew on BEST customer service experience and store policies.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure high performance and service quality.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, handling store operations, staff, and urgent issues.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, and set alarms for smooth operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training to improve performance.
• Drive store sales by optimizing merchandising and reducing expenses.
• Collaborate with leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
