Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support the store leadership team and assist in delivering an outstanding customer experience for fans of music and pop culture.

You’ll train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and ensure products are available and presented to customers with enthusiasm. You’ll assist with opening/closing, stock organization, and visual merchandising, while using product knowledge to drive sales add-ons.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred
• Strong customer service and selling ability
• Able to stand/walk for scheduled hours, move merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate fashion/music trends to management

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and train customers to feel confident buying products
• Support store leadership and help run the store when the manager is away
• Help drive sales by focusing on key KPIs and visual standards
• Assist with opening and closing, stocking, and maintaining the sales floor
• Process transactions and perform register duties while delivering fandom knowledge
• Contribute to merchandising changes and store layout updates
• Share trend information with management and HQ partners
• Support theft prevention and maintain stock room organization
• Coach new Sales Associates and onboard new team members
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader
