Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to support store leadership, train new recruits, and ensure an outstanding customer experience for fellow fans of music and pop culture.

You’ll help manage daily operations, participate in achieving sales targets, and contribute to a dynamic store team with a focus on product knowledge and fandom expertise. Expect an on-site role with a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
• Avenger-like collaboration and captain America-like leadership.
• The usual retail requirements: stand/walk for scheduled hours and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage repeat visits.
• Provide leadership support and help run the store when the Manager is unavailable.
• Help drive sales by meeting KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Maintain visual standards across the sales floor and assist with opening/closing.
• Handle transactions at the register and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Ensure stockroom organization and store cleanliness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed.
