Job summary

Hot Topic, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Key Holder to join our store team and help deliver an exceptional customer experience for fans of music and pop culture. You will train new hires, support the Store Manager, and help meet sales targets while ensuring store standards and smooth daily operations.

You'll leverage product knowledge, assist with merchandising, planogram changes, and lead by example on the sales floor, including opening and closing duties and maintain inventory organization.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Superpowers in customer service and selling.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership.
• Stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage return customers.
• Lead and support store operations when the Manager is away.
• Understand sales plans and drive KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Cover sales floor zones and assist opening/closing.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management.
• Support stock room organization and store tidiness.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates.
• Other activities as assigned by Store Leader.
