Five Below, Inc. in Altoona, IA is seeking a Seasonal Support Lead for a part-time role to help run daily store operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will train crew on the BEST service, oversee associates, assist with stock, and act as Manager on Duty when needed, including opening/closing duties and cash handling. Strong communication and leadership are a must.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check-out experience.
• Oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to place on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Occasionally manage opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining stock room.
