Job summary

Michaels in Greensboro is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, process transactions, and support store operations. You will help customers locate products, enroll them in rewards programs, and participate in omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role involves unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining in-store standards with attention to merchandising.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Comfort with assisting customers and answering questions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain stock and merchandise recovery to ensure a well-merchandised store
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and team
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
