Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A or B CDL with no Airbrake Restriction.
• Must obtain Class A CDL with no Airbrake Restriction and Tanker Endorsement within 6 months of placement.
• Subject to drug/alcohol testing; pre-placement drug screen required.
• Must be registered in FMCSA CDL Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Education substitution: Heavy Equipment Operation program may substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains roadways for snow and ice control.
• Prepares and inspects winter equipment.
• Performs preseason snow route inspection and post-storm cleanup.
• Performs winter stockpile setup and transfer of anti-icing/de-icing chemicals.
• Installs, repairs, maintains, and removes snow fences; replaces mailboxes.
• Maintain documentation on snow/ice data for inventory and resource management.
