Job summary

The Idaho Transportation Department is seeking a Transportation Technician to work up to 5 months in Cedars/Cataldo, Idaho. This seasonal position will provide support to keep highways safe and clear during the winter season.

A Class B CDL is required and training will be provided to operate the snow removal equipment. Hourly rates are based on snowplow experience and range from $21.05 to $25.83 per hour, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Experience operating vehicles with manual transmissions is required.
• Class A or B CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow removal equipment in various weather conditions.
• Work up to 5 months in Cedars/Cataldo, Idaho, with irregular shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Follow safety and FMCSA requirements and participate in testing as applicable.
