Job summary

Bear Valley Mountain Resort Llc seeks a Seasonal Full Time ski school operations supervisor in Bear Valley, CA. You will manage lesson programs, coordinate instructors, and ensure guest satisfaction using the PSIA/AASI Teaching Model.

Requires PSIA-AASI Level II and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Housing options and an employee shuttle may be available; be prepared for variable hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• PSIA-AASI Level II minimum or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver student-centered lesson plans using the PSIA/AASI model.
• Willingness to train and provide feedback to instructors.

Responsibilities

• Manage lesson programs, including daily coordination with instructors and other supervisors.
• Create and confirm instructor schedules.
• Confirm and communicate instructor daily assignments.
• Maintain lesson inventory based on demand and instructor availability.
• Maintain accurate payroll sheets and reporting for lessons (no-shows, requests, conflicts).
• Oversee outdoor snow instructional area setup/teardown daily.
• Coordinate with supervisors to schedule ongoing training for instructors.
• Record safety topics and training logs; monitor program safety.
