Job summary

Marquette Mountain is seeking a part-time Lift Operator for the seasonal period from October 14, 2026 to April 14, 2027. The role oversees the safe operation of an assigned lift, assists guests loading and unloading, and maintains daily lift logs and facility checks.

Responsibilities include controlling lift speed, responding to guest questions, and upholding safety policies. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to work weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be physically able to assist guests getting on/off the lift.
• Must be able to clear snow or ice and work in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in safe loading and unloading of the ski lift.
• Provide friendly, informative guest service during operations.
• Perform daily lift inspections and maintain operation logs.
• Maintain lift and surrounding areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Communicate lift status and delays to guests and supervisors.
