Job summary

Marquette Mountain Resort in Marquette, Michigan seeks a dedicated Lift Maintenance Technician for the October 14, 2026 to April 14, 2027 season. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Lift maintenance experience preferred; will train the right candidate with a mechanical background.
• Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work at heights and in all kinds of weather (heat, cold, rain, wind, ice, snow).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with ANSI B-77.
• Ability to work under timelines and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and reliable mechanical operation of lifts.
• Responsible for following the company's safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Responsible for performance and scheduling of all preventative maintenance procedures.
• Must assist in troubleshooting all "down" lifts.
• Responsible for informing lift maintenance leadership of abnormal conditions and malfunctions.
• Respond to lift failures to resolve situations promptly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles as assigned.
• Assist in ongoing training of lift maintenance personnel.
• Provide superior service to guests, interacting courteously and efficiently.
