Job summary

Marquette Mountain is seeking a Lift Operator for a part-time seasonal role from October to April at our Marquette, Michigan resort. You will help guests safely load and unload lifts, monitor lift operations, and keep accurate lift logs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate strong customer service, safety awareness, and teamwork. Weekend availability and a flexible schedule are required to support peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be physically able to assist customers while getting on/off lift.
• Must be physically able to clear snow or ice.
• Ability to work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in the safe loading and unloading of the ski lift, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Provide instruction and superior customer service to all guests.
• Check to ensure every skier/snowboarder has a valid day ticket/season pass prior to boarding lift.
• Perform daily pre/post operation inspections and procedures.
• Accurately complete required operational documentation each day, including daily lift logs and facility tracking sheets.
