Job summary
Brighton Resort is seeking passionate ski instructors for private, group and multi-week lessons in Utah. Lead lessons for skiers of all ages and abilities, while delivering high-quality, personalized coaching and guest experiences on the mountain.
Instructors will participate in paid training, work a mix of mornings, afternoons and some evenings, and contribute to ongoing learner outcomes. Seasonal FT or PT opportunities include weekend and holiday shifts with outdoor winter duties.
Qualifications
- 18+ years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience as an instructor at another ski area
- Experience teaching students of varied ages, skills and group sizes
- PSIA or AASI a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and learning of students in lessons
- Teach students of all ages
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and guests
- Engage in ongoing teaching development and tactics
- Complete digital report cards for each student
- Work outdoors in winter conditions
- Wear Brighton uniform and identification while on shift
