Job summary

Brighton Resort is seeking fun, energetic instructors to share the magic of Utah’s snow with guests. Training is provided, with instruction across group, private, and multi-week programs.

Instructors will teach students of various ages in a team-oriented environment, wearing Brighton attire and using a personal phone to manage schedules and communications. Start date is mid-November, with 8:45 am to 4 pm shifts and 1–5 days per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to demonstrate beginner riding skills and ski/snowboard at an intermediate level.
• Willingness to work with students of a variety of ages, skills, and group sizes.
• Intermediate+ skiing or snowboarding skills.
• Growth mindset with openness to learning and feedback.
• Must submit a resume during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and learning for students in lessons.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, resort staff and guests.
• Teach students of all ages.
• Engage in ongoing education on teaching tactics and skills.
• Perform other daily ski school duties.
• Work outdoors in winter mountain conditions.
• Be in Brighton uniform with proper gear and nametag.
