Job summary

Brighton Resort in Utah seeks passionate snowboard instructors for seasonal full-time or part-time roles. You will teach private lessons, group programs, and multi-week series, delivering high-quality, personalized guest experiences.

Requirements include 18+ years old, physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with diverse student groups; PSIA/AASI is a plus. Training dates are scheduled and the team emphasizes safety and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Experience working with students of a variety of ages, skills, and group size
• Intermediate + skiing or snowboarding skills
• PSIA or AASI a plus, but not required
• A growth mindset (an openness to learning and feedback)
• Must submit a resume during the application process

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and learning of students in lessons
• Teach students of all ages
• Effective communication with students, parents, resort staff and guests
• Engage in continuing education such as teaching tactics, sliding skills, and people skills
• Other duties related to the daily operation of the SnowSports School
• Ability to work outdoors in the winter mountain environment
• Instructors are paid to complete digital report cards for each student
