Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Pittsfield store to deliver friendly service, help customers shop, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to keep shelves in stock and visually appealing.

The role emphasizes customer enrollment in the Rewards program, BOPIS, and SFS, with opportunities to cross-train in Custom Framing. 16+ years old and a background in retail are preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to move throughout the store and lift boxes.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns/go back
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
