Description

The Grand America Hotel is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Seasonal Servers and Bussers to join our team for our annual Breakfast with Santa event.

Event Dates

November 28

December 5, 12, 18, 19, 21, and 22

Position Type

Seasonal / Part-Time

Availability

Must be available for all scheduled shifts, primarily weekend mornings during the dates listed above

Responsibilities

Warmly welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service throughout their dining experience.

Monitor buffet stations, ensuring food levels, cleanliness, and presentation meet hotel standards.

Serve beverages and clear plates in a timely and courteous manner.

Assist with setup, restocking, and cleanup before and after each shift.

Ensure guest satisfaction and provide assistance to families and children as needed.

Qualifications

Must be able to communicate clearly in English.

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or banquet service preferred.

Friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Must be available for all Breakfast with Santa event dates listed above.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).

Ability to lift, carry, and transport trays, dishes, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds.

Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting during setup, service, and cleanup.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and moving safely in crowded spaces.

Must adhere to all hotel safety and grooming standards.
