Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is seeking experienced servers for a seasonal role on our dining team. This position requires teamwork, agility, flexibility and excellent communication in a fast-paced resort environment.

The role is paid at $8.75/hr plus tips, with full-time and part-time hours available and ongoing recruitment through December. You will use a POS system, support multiple workstations, ensure guest safety and satisfaction, and communicate effectively with culinary staff while adhering

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years serving or bartending experience.
• Cash handling and POS experience.
• Able to lift and walk with at least 30 pounds.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Use POS system to place orders and process payments.
• Support all workstations including host, expo, bar and dish.
• Adhere to Vermont liquor laws in serving alcohol.
• Maintain a clean, presentable work area with food safety in mind.
• Handle opening and closing duties as directed.
• Coordinate with culinary team for timely, accurate orders.
• Assist guests with allergies or dietary restrictions.
