Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking enthusiastic Server Assistants for the Autograph Collection at our Fort Myers hotel. You will greet guests, serve with grace, and uphold the highest standards of service to ensure a memorable dining experience across outlets including The Lobby Bar, Pool, Upstairs Bar, and In Room Dining.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or higher, strong customer service and communication skills, and comfort using technology such as tablets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Hospitality/serving experience preferred (minimum one year Server Assistant, Backwater, or Food Runner in greater Tampa Bay area).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use technology, e.g. tablets.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of beverages including liquors and wines.
• Serves guests in an efficient courteous manner following proper steps of service.
• Runs food and assists servers at The Lobby Bar, Pool, Upstairs Bar, In Room Dining.
• Comfortable running food/drinks/hot boxes to guest rooms.
• Report to work on time in proper uniform.
• Work as a team with all hotel staff.
