Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking enthusiastic server assistants to ensure exceptional dining experiences in a Marriott‑branded environment. You will greet guests, support servers, and uphold the highest standards of service across multiple hotel venues in the Tampa Bay area.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and customer service orientation, with hospitality experience preferred. Training includes POS usage and adherence to departmental guidelines to deliver polished guest

Qualifications

High School diploma or higher.
Previous hospitality/serving experience preferred – minimum one year Server Assistant, Backwaiter, or Food Runner in greater Tampa Bay area preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to use technology, e.g. tablets.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of all beverages, liquors and wines.
Serve guests in an efficient, courteous manner following proper steps of service.
Run food and assist servers across venues (Lobby Bar, Pool, Upstairs Bar, In Room Dining).
Assist with running food, drinks, and hot boxes in guest rooms as needed.
Report to work on time in proper uniform.
