Job summary

DK Security, Inc is seeking Security Officers for construction site coverage in the Southeast Michigan area, including Detroit. This part-time, seasonal role focuses on safety, customer service, and professional security presence across various shifts. No prior experience is required, and veterans or those with related security experience are encouraged to apply.

Training will be provided, and CPR/First Aid may be required. Rate of pay starts at $17.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and meet site requirements.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: assist staff, visitors, and coworkers professionally.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and incidents.
• Maintain a visible security presence in lobbies and entrances.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as required.
• Control access and verify IDs per site procedures.
• Support safety protocols and emergency response when needed.
