Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company is seeking a seasonal Seamer Operator at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. You will operate the vacuum sealer, seamer machines, and video jet to support our fresh-pack season (August–November), ensuring consistent can seams and proper topping.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Comply with Food Safety Initiatives and related programs.
• Strong verbal communication and accuracy in work.
• Reliable, dependable and trustworthy.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended hours, weekends, and shifts Aug–Nov.
• Eligible for paid sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Operates ALL seamer machines.
• Inspects cans for proper seams and topping level.
• Keeps seamer machine full of lids.
• Records the counter number at end of each product code.
