Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide supervisory and technical support for the plant’s preventive maintenance program, covering mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, steam, water, vacuum, and compressed air systems. Supports production management by overseeing throughput, employee safety, labor effectiveness, and product quality.

This role is located at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in manufacturing operations, engineering, management, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years’ experience directly related to maintenance/production supervisory.
• 2 years’ experience in food processing environment, preferably tomato/fruit industry.
• 2 years’ experience supervising a large group of employees.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and work extended hours, weekends, and shifts during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Supervises operation, installation, repair and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoots and coordinates with staff to correct malfunctions and determine root cause.
• Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation to ensure continuous production.
• Supports operations in equipment start-up, shut down and CIP processes.
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with standards.
