Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a Seasonal Scribe Tech for our Brooklyn, NY urgent care facility. The role supports physicians by documenting visits in the EMR and assisting with basic patient care, while helping manage patient flow and site operations.

The position offers full-time hours with a fast-paced urgent care environment, requiring FLEXIBLE weekend work and strong communication. BLS certification and MA/phlebotomy training are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA training is a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program and/or phlebotomy cert is a plus.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Capture accurate, detailed documentation of patient visits into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assist physician with basic patient care and procedures.
• Direct patient flow, assist with inventory, and follow up on labs.
• Ensure DOH compliance for site lab and exam rooms.
• Provide compassionate customer service and maintain a clean, professional environment.
