Job summary

Skyland Grain, LLC is a grain farmers’ co-op providing producers with supplies and services. The Seasonal Scale Operator will handle customer service duties at the location, operate the scale for trucks, and manage paperwork in a seasonal capacity.

Role requires basic computer skills, ability to work evenings/weekends, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. OSHA safety standards apply; all duties performed in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required
• Basic computer operation skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks
• Complete all applicable paperwork accurately and timely
• Greet employees, members, and visitors
• Answer telephone professionally and assist customers with sales, questions or complaints
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and facility
