Skyland Grain, LLC is seeking a Seasonal Scale Operator to support our grain operations in Texas. The role focuses on weighing trucks on the scale, handling related paperwork, and delivering friendly customer service at the location.

This position requires a courteous, professional appearance and the ability to work irregular seasonal hours. Responsibilities include answering inquiries, assisting customers with sales, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and performing general office tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer operation skills are required.
• Seasonal/temporary role with weekend/evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate the scale to weigh in-bound and out-bound trucks.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Greet employees, members, and visitors professionally.
• Handle office tasks such as filing and typing.
• Answer phones and assist customers with sales or questions.
• Maintain neat, clean work area and facilities.
• Adhere to safety regulations and attend training/safety meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve concerns promptly.
