Job summary

Five Below is seeking an energetic store leader to oversee daily operations, train crew on the best customer service, and manage opening/closing procedures to ensure a seamless daily routine.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, a high school diploma, and excellent communication. Flexibility to work day/evening/weekends and travel as needed is expected for this hourly position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends; may include travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed and customer service is strong.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick shelf placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and prepare for daily operations.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates to improve performance.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and customer service improvements.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and recovery processes.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning, stock room upkeep, and waste management.
