Job summary

The Royal Standard in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. This part-time, seasonal role runs October through mid-January with no guaranteed length of employment.

You will operate the register, stock and tag merchandise, assist customers, and maintain store appearance. Proactive, friendly, and detail-oriented individuals succeed here.

• Maintaining inventory and store supply levels
• Tagging merchandise correctly
• Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete

• Communicating with and assisting co-workers with any operations of the store

Summary

The Seasonal Sales Associate specializes in excellent customer service and sales. Responsibilities include assisting the customer with any retail related needs while providing a positive shopping experience, general point of sale processing, stocking and tagging merchandise, straightening shelves, monogramming merchandise, and much more!

This position is a part-time, seasonal position that will be active between October – Mid-January. There is no guarantee of length of employment or continued employment after season ends.

Essential functions

• Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner
• Working a register to tender sales

Ability to stand or walk 90% of the time

Ability to frequently move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds across the sales floor
