The Royal Standard in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will engage with guests, process transactions, stock and tag merchandise, and help maintain an inviting store atmosphere.

This part-time seasonal role runs from October through mid-January with a flexible schedule and opportunities to contribute to holiday displays and customer experience initiatives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner

• Following store policies and procedures
• Merchandise displays, signage, and cleanliness, and overall store appearance
• Maintaining inventory and store supply levels
• Tagging merchandise correctly
• Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete
• Monogramming merchandise on the monogram machine or by adding a vinyl
• Communicating with and assisting co-workers with any operations of the store

Responsibilities include assisting the customer with any retail related needs while providing a positive shopping experience, general point of sale processing, stocking and tagging merchandise, straightening shelves, monogramming merchandise, and much more!

This position is a part-time, seasonal position that will be active between October – Mid-January. There is no guarantee of length of employment or continued employment after season ends.

Essential functions
