Job summary

The Royal Standard in Baton Rouge is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales during the peak season.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing POS transactions, stocking and tagging merchandise, and monogramming items. The role is part-time and seasonal from October through mid-January with no guaranteed employment beyond the season.

Qualifications

• Sales and Customer Service oriented.

• Creative, Organized and Detail Oriented.
• Excellent Communication Skills, especially Verbal.
• Computer Literate - POS software, Microsoft Excel and Word, email.

Responsibilities

• Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner
• Working a register to tender sales
• Motivated to reach or exceed store sales goals
• Following store policies and procedures
• Merchandise displays, signage, cleanliness, and overall store appearance
• Maintaining inventory and store supply levels
• Tagging merchandise correctly
• Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete
• Monogramming merchandise on the monogram machine or by adding a vinyl
• Communicating with and assisting co-workers with store operations
• Additional responsibilities may be added at any time
