Job summary

The Royal Standard in Cypress, TX is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate for a part-time, seasonal role from October through mid-January. You will focus on delivering excellent customer service, processing sales at the register, stocking and tagging merchandise, and keeping the store visually appealing.

Responsibilities include merchandising, assisting customers, and supporting team members. Prior retail and POS experience is valued; flexible availability during peak shopping periods is preferred.

• Initiating and developing customer relationships, and resolving customer service issues in a timely manner
• Working a register to tender sales
• Motivated to reach or exceed store sales goals
• Following store policies and procedures
• Merchandise displays, signage, and cleanliness, and overall store appearance
• Maintaining inventory and store supply levels
• Tagging merchandise correctly
• Ensuring required store opening and closing duties are complete
• Monogramming merchandise on the monogram machine or by adding a vinyl
• Communicating with and assisting co-workers with any operations of the store
• Additional responsibilities may be added at any time
• Ability to stand or walk 90% of the time
• Ability to frequently move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds across the sales floor

Summary:

The Seasonal Sales Associate specializes in excellent customer service and sales. Responsibilities include assisting the customer with any retail related needs while providing a positive shopping experience, general point of sale processing, stocking and tagging merchandise, straightening shelves, monogramming merchandise, and much more!

This position is a part-time, seasonal position that will be active between October – Mid-January. There is no guarantee of length of employment or continued employment after season ends.
