Job summary

Michaels Burnsville, MN is hiring for a Store Team Member. You will help shoppers, ensure fast checkout, and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS. You’ll participate in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining a well-organized store.

You'll engage customers with Rewards and credit enrollments, follow SOPs, and support safety programs. Expect nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and store upkeep to ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store
• Attend Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; interact respectfully with customers and coworkers
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
