Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member for the Forest Lake, MN store to assist customers, stock shelves, and process purchases. You’ll help customers locate products, enroll shoppers in the Rewards program, and support omni-channel services like BOPIS and SFS while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift and move items, and a cooperative attitude aligned with Michaels’ values.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Cross training in Custom Framing sales and production helps in-store tasks.
• Cash handling and checkout accuracy are essential responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Support truck unload, stocking, planograms, and in-stock store maintenance
• Participate in store recovery, shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model professional behavior
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
