Job summary

Michaels Richmond Store is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, locate products, and process fast, accurate checkout.

You will help with stocking, unloading trucks, maintaining planograms, and supporting omnichannel programs such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), while upholding store recovery standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, Ship From Store)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock store condition
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact with customers in a respectful manner; be a role model for team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
