Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate in Burlington, WA to deliver friendly customer service, assist with checkout, and support stocking and merchandise recovery. You will engage customers in rewards programs, explain Buy Online Pickup in Store, and help with truck unloading and shelf maintenance.

The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and a positive store environment. Availability includes evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Reliable and able to follow SOPs and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and engage in Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) duties.
