Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Team Member at our VA store in the DC-ARCOLA/DULLES area. You will help customers find products, provide fast checkout, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

You’ll assist with truck unloading and keep the sales floor well merchandised to meet brand standards. Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, enjoy helping customers, and can handle physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance (POGs).
• Maintain in-stock, merchandised store and support shrink/safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; serve as a positive role model.
