Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Retail- Service Team Member (Seasonal Part-Time) to assist customers, stock merchandise, and ensure a timely checkout experience. You will help customers locate products, enroll in rewards programs, and participate in BOPIS and SFS processes.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are able to stand for long periods, lift heavy boxes, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Lifting heavy boxes and reaching high shelves; ladder may be used.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and find what they’re looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain store recovery; support shrink and safety programs.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
