Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Alexandria is seeking a Seasonal Part-time Retail Service Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You’ll unload trucks, stock merchandise, and participate in store recovery to keep shelves in-stock and well-presented.

Responsibilities include engaging customers about rewards programs, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, and supporting frame shop operations where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in-store.
• Complete checkout with accurate cash handling and rewards enrollments.
• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining planograms (POGs).
• Support store recovery, merchandise returns, and in-stock conditions.
• Participate in Omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS).
• Adhere to SOPs, safety policies, and company guidelines.
