Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Commack, NY is seeking a part-time Retail Seasonal Service Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop, and ensure fast checkout. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and store recovery to keep products in stock and nicely presented.

You will engage customers about the Rewards program, enroll new members, and support omni-channel tasks like BOPIS/SFS. The role requires standing for long periods and weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products.
• Handle cash and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
• Promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Support omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
