Job summary

SSA Group in Oakland, CA is hiring a Seasonal Retail Lead for a part-time, seasonal role running Oct 8, 2026 to Feb 5, 2027. You’ll lead store teams, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive sales during Glowfari season, with hours including daytime and evenings.

The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and POS proficiency, with a focus on safety, adherence to policies, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required for Retail Management and guest interactions.
• Proven leadership abilities with team-building and development focus.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills for a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must remain flexible to varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• POS knowledge and ability to manage cash handling and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors in leading and motivating staff to exceed customer expectations.
• Supervise and train team, manage onboarding and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Oversee daily floor operations and achieve sales goals and metrics.
• Resolve guest complaints and handle refunds; manage breaks and hours per law.
