Job summary

Michaels Stores in Columbia, SC is seeking a friendly team member to build customer relationships and provide memorable framing solutions while helping customers shop and find what they need. The role involves maintaining a clean, well-merchandised store and delivering excellent service.

You will complete framing orders, operate the cash wrap, support omni-channel processes, and follow SOPs. The position requires basic computer and measuring skills, with prior retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating Custom Framing solutions and deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers find products; keep store well merchandised and in-stock.
• Follow SOPs and Company programs; support shrink and safety programs.
• Interact positively with others; represent the company values and visions.
