Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate in Poway. You will help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions while ensuring a fast, friendly checkout experience.

You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining in-store merchandising as well as supporting omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. The role requires a willingness to engage customers with the Rewards program and to follow company SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and balance registers.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; ensure cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Maintain store recovery and merchandise to ensure in-stock condition.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
