Job summary

Michaels in Clackamas, OR is hiring for a Store Team Member to assist customers, locate products and deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to keep aisles in-stock and well-merchandised.

Responsibilities also include promoting the Rewards program, assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store, and supporting store recovery; cross-training in framing duties where needed.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and answer questions.
• Cash handling to standards and POS operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash-handling to standards.
• Enrol customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planograms.
• Maintain in-stock store and handle returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Be a positive role model and cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.
